All Empire Covers are suited for outdoor use, however, some are best suited for different environments. Our Standard Cover provides light protection against the elements, and is more popular for indoor use. The Empire Deluxe Cover offers moderate outdoor protection, and is a step up from the Standard Cover in terms of dust and sun protection, but fares similarly against rain.
Empire offers several covers that are well suited to rain, including the only truly 100% Waterproof Car Cover on the market, the Empire Waterproof Cover. The Waterproof has ultrasonic, double-stitched seams and a microporous center that prevents moisture from getting through, but allows breathability.
The best cover for overall outdoor protection is the Max Cover. UV treated for protection against sun, highly water resistant, and three layers of breathable Endura Plus material set this cover apart in its superior protection against the elements. We offer this cover exclusively, and are so confident with its performance we offer a Lifetime Warranty.
Our Truck Cover Materials:
Spun-Bond Polypropylene: A space-age material perfect for car protection, this ultra lightweight and yet weather resistant material is one layer of non-abrasive synthetic fibers. This material is used in our Standard car cover.
SFS (Spun-Bond Polypropalyne, Film, Spun-Bond Polypropalyne): A breathable, 3-layer material that has been UV treated. A soft interior layer prevents scratches and abrasion. We offer different grades of SFS materials for different environmental applications.
Endura-Plus: A non-abrasive, water-resistant, 3-layer fabric, with high sun, rain, and dust protection made right here in the USA by the Polymer Group. Double-stitched seams and extra thick, breathable material provide strong water-resistance. This material is used in our MAX car covers, which come with a lifetime warranty.
DuPont Tyvek™: An Ultra-lightweight, super soft material with very high sun resistance and double-stitched seams. Made in the USA by DuPont, the Tyvek material is completely recyclable and will keep your vehicle up to 30 degrees cooler in the hot sun. Don't be fooled by cheap imitations, our Tyvek car covers are the real thing, made right here in the USA.
Durability:

All Empire truck covers are semi-custom, and we can fit virtually any vehicle. From Chevy to Toyota, we'll get you covered. All our covers have an elastic hem all the way around to ensure that the cover fits snugly and securely. We also offer a cable & lock kit to ensure that your cover stays secure to your truck.
